Tutorial 1 (10 marks)
1. Sebuah motor siri, 220 Volt dengan arus 10 Ampere dan berputar pada  600psm, jumlah rintangan adalah 0.8 ohm. Apakah kelajuannya jika rintangan  5 ohm disambung sesiri, the motor pada arus dan voltan yang tetap?                                                                                                                               (5 markah)
A 220 Volt series motor takes 10 Amperes and runs at 600rpm, its total resistance is 0.8 ohm. At what speed will it run when a 5 ohm resistance is connected in series, the motor taking the same current at the same supply voltage                                                                                                        (5 marks)



2.    Sebuah motor pirau 500 Volts berputar pada 720 psm dengan arus angker 50 ampere dan rintangan angker  0.4ohm. apakah rintangan yang perlu disambung sesiri dengan angker untuk mengurangkan kelajuan ke 600 psm. Dayakilas sentiasa tetap.                                                                (5 markah)
A 500 Volts shunt motor running at 720 rpm takes the armature current of 50 amperes effective armature resistance 0.4ohm. What resistance must be placed in series with the armature to reduce the speed to 600 rpm. The torque remaining constant.                                                                              (5 marks)
